Having a first aid kit for canine accidents is the mark of a well-prepared dog owner.
Kit and care poodle?
However much care and attention you give your dog, accidents do happen. And if the situation does arise, having a well-stocked first aid kit at the ready will help you deal with an emergency.
It's also a good idea to prepare a supplementary kit to keep in your car. However, if you suspect anything is wrong with your dog, always contact your vet.
Remember that a dog who is in pain is likely to behave differently from normal. Take care not to get bitten (the dog is not intending to harm you) if you have to move or even approach, a dog who is hurt.
