Feeding Guidelines

It is important to closely monitor the cat’s glycaemia during the first weeks of feeding Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets DM ST/OX Diabetes Management in order to adjust the insulin dosage. Feline DM St/Ox Diabetes Management can be fed for life if necessary. It is recommended that a vet’s opinion is sought before use or before extending the period of use. Fresh, clean drinking water should always be available.

For each additional 1kg of body weight, feed an additional ½ of pouch per day when only wet food, and 14g of dry food when only dry food fed, and ¼ extra pouch and 7g dry food when mixed food is given for weight maintenance.

DM ST/Ox Diabetes Management can be fed for life. Feline DM ST/Ox Diabetes Management™ can also be used for weight loss and its formulation may increase satiety*.
