When transitioning pets to a new diet, it's important to do so gradually over at least 7 days to prevent gastrointestinal upset. This can be achieved by starting with ¼ of the new food and increasing the amount by another ¼ every 2 days. For pets prone to stomach issues, a 10-day transition may be advisable. It's also recommended to consult feeding guidelines on the food packaging for appropriate serving sizes.

When pets suddenly switch from one diet to another, it can cause gastrointestinal upset and other issues. That is why it is important to slowly introduce your pet to a new diet over the course of at least 7 days.
Gradually replace the old food by starting with ¼ of the new food and increasing the amount by another ¼ every 2 days. After 7 days, the switch over to the new food is complete. If a pet is susceptible to stomach upset, it may be beneficial to transition over 10 days.
Please refer to feeding guidelines found on pack for the appropriate serving size for your pet.
